Barça's De Jong drops out of Netherlands squad with hamstring injury
The midfielder will rest up and sit out the games against France and Gibraltar
Barcelona have some collateral damage from Sunday's clásico. In addition to Ronald Araujo's injury, midfielder Frenkie De Jong -- who will miss the two matches with the Netherlands against France and Gibraltar in the qualifiers for the European Championship due to hamstring problems -- has to be added to the list of injuries.

The Netherlands say that De Jong has undergone an MRI scan and that after the results, it has been decided that the Barça player should rest and recover from his physical problems.
🚨 Frenkie de Jong & Steven Bergwijn will not join Oranje's training camp in Zeist due to injuries. They will be replaced by Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund) & Joey Veerman (PSV).

De Jong played the full 90 minutes against Real Madrid in a demanding, hard-fought match for the Dutch midfielder, who once again put in another strong performance.
The hamstring discomfort did not prevent him from finishing the game, so he should be available for the next matches, in the league on April 1 at Elche, and for the crucial game, again against Real Madrid, on April 5 in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.
