The Brazilian will always be grateful to the English side for what they did for him

Philippe Coutinho admits he will always be grateful to Liverpool for the push they gave his career and won't rule out a return to Anfield one day.

"The Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in the world," he told the magazine World Soccer. "To have the chance to play for a team like Liverpool will always be something I feel grateful for.

"It's impossible to say what could happen in the future or not. But right now my only objective is to have success with Barcelona."

The Brazilian has started the season well at Camp Nou after returning from a loan with Bayern Munich, where he won the Champions League. His goal in Sunday's win against Osasuna was his third of the campaign.

He was linked with Arsenal in the summer and a number of other clubs but Barça coach Ronald Koeman was keen on keeping him around.
