Barca's condition for a Griezmann - Saul trade with Atletico
The Catalans want 15m euros on top to account for the difference in market value between the two players
Barcelona have spent some time attempting to find a place for Antoine Griezmann in the market. They need to save his huge salary. The Frenchman seems only willing to go back to Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have been looking at formulas for that. They would accept a trade with Saul Niguez, but believe Atletico should at least pay 15m euros on top.
Atletico don’t see Saul as a starter any more. He’s not the type of midfielder that fits Barca 100 per cent, but would be a decent squad option.
Griezmann is willing to lower his salary to rejoin Atletico Madrid and that would help Barca a lot. Barcelona thought Chelsea would sign him but Griezmann seems sure on his destiny.
