RAC1 say the player asked to go back to the country where he did some recovery work
Ousmane Dembele will stay in Barcelona until he is back from his hamstring injury, which he had an operation on, on Feb 11. The French winger, according to RAC1 had asked to continue his recovery in Qatar, where he was earlier this year to do some rehabilitation work.
The club does not want to lose sight of the winger and prefer him to stay in Barcelona under the club's eye. He was expected to be out for around six months, which means he might be available to play in the Champions League in August.
