Unless such a bid is received, the player will not be leaving this window

The conflict between FC Barcelona and Ilaix Moriba is nearing a point of no return. No agreement has been reached on a possible renewal and Barça are running out of patience with the player. However, they aren't willing to let him go for any price.

According to SPORT sources, Barça are waiting for Leipzig to increase their offer for the player. The German side has placed a big of eight million euros on the table, which the club considers to be totally unacceptable.

Despite the player's current release clause of 25 million euros, the club has made it clear that they would accept a bid of more than 20 million euros. However, any bids below this figure will be rejected.

If no such bid is forthcoming and the player still refuses to sign a new contract, the club will make him see out his final year from the stands. He will not be included in any squads: neither the first team or Barça B.
