Barcelona’s clash with Real Valladolid, set for Monday April 5, is in danger. Valladolid players are suffering from an outbreak of Covid-19.

They suspended training on Wednesday because goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez has Covid.

SPORT have learned that as well as Roberto, six further players in the squad have the virus. All players were being tested after the goalkeeper contracted the illness.

The squad is pending a second test in the coming hours, but there is worry because various players who test negative are showing Covid symptoms.

They have already altered their planning for the txt few days. The game, 11 days away at Camp Nou, would in theory be suspended if an outbreak is confirmed. They have to confine themselves for 10 days and then take new tests.
