The team will stay at a hotel exclusively for them ahead of Bayern game

Barcelona have qualified for the final eight of this season's Champions League in Lisbon, reaching the quarterfinals of the competition for the 13th season in a row.

This year's final stages are different due to the coronavirus pandemic, with all games from here on in to be played in Portugal over one leg.

UEFA have meticulously prepared everything for the final eight to ensure the health of the players and coaching staff during the tournament.

Barça will travel to Lisbon on Thursday, one day before their game against Bayern Munich, and will be able to train either at a venue provided by UEFA or in Barcelona before traveling.

There will be huge security measures in place to protect the health of the travelling party and the players will basically live in a bubble to avoid contagion.

The Barça party will be tested before travelling before moving into a closed-access hotel with severely limited access, with trips to games and training arranged by UEFA.

If they beat Bayern, they will remain in Lisbon for the semifinal and possibly the final, which is scheduled for Aug. 23.
