After finalising a deal for Ferran Torres, Barcelona are now closing in on the signing of another young forward.
Fabio Blanco, 17, is set to join the club's B team from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Blanco was close to joining Barça last summer after leaving Valencia. Real Madrid were also chasing him but he decided to move to Germany.
However, he's not been given the first team opportunities promised by Frankfurt and Barça have moved quickly to bring him in.
Jose Ramon Alexanco, the director of Barça's academy, signed Blanco for Valencia.
Blanco will arrive for practically nothing to strengthen Sergi Barjuan's team with the fee largely dependent on first team appearances.
He will sign a 2.5 year contract at Camp Nou.
