The striker is wanted by Barça, Manchester City and Real Madrid

FC Barcelona remain in the fight for Erling Haaland. Despite Joan Laporta and Rafa Yuste playing down the financial side of the deal, the Borussia Dortmund striker is still the club's No.1 target.

According to the journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barça have told Haaland's camp that they are ready to pay his release clause.

The Catalan club say they want to and can pay the €75 million that must be paid before April 30 -- which is when the price increases reportedly.

Barça's financial package to the player is not as attractive as Manchester City's, although the future project and the player's preference to play in Spain could yet play in their favour.

Real Madrid are also keen and the decision is now in the player's hands, who in the coming weeks must decide his next step after spells with Molde, Salzburg and Dortmund.
