On Wednesday the Frenchman's representatives met with the acting director of football at Sevilla

Clement Lenglet's future is still undecided. Sevilla's central defender didn't make France's squad for the World Cup in Russia and he's now gone on holiday. The Frenchman is desperate to disconnect and he, alongside his representatives, aren't in any rush to decide what his future holds.

Because of this, Lenglet's representatives met with the current acting director of football at Sevilla to talk about the future of their client. Sources close to the negotiations have told SPORT that the conversation was friendly but no decision has been made regarding Lenglet's future.

Lenglet has offers from some of the biggest teams in Europe although he's insisted that he first wants to listen to what Sevilla has to offer. The Frenchman is very happy at the club and hasn't ruled out staying for another season. If Lenglet does decide to leave, Barcelona are in pole position to bring him in.

Barca took advantage of meetings with Andre Gomes - who shares the same agent as Lenglet - to ask about the future of Sevilla's central defender and they could pay his €30m buyout clause. There's also some controversy surrounding that as Lenglet's entourage insist his current clause is €30m, it'll ris to €35m in July and €40m in the final days of August. In the next few days there's a meeting planned between Barcelona and the Frenchman's representatives.

Once Lenglet has listened to Sevilla's proposal, he'll give the green light to hear all the offers which come in for his services. From there, He will make a decision. At Barcelona they are waiting for him whether Samuel Umtiti stays or not.
