'Cuatrecasas' have helped Leo throughout this whole process and the club will now no longer use their services
The Lionel Messi saga has attracted interest from all over the world. One of the biggest casualties so far is 'Cuatrecasas'. That name might not be known to the international market but it's one of the biggest legal teams in Barcelona. In fact, they represent both Barça and Lionel Messi. And that's the problem.
However, according to 'El Español', it's the 'Cuartrecasas' legal team which is advising Messi on his personal and professional decisions - this includes leaving Barça on a free transfer. After studying the contract, they recommended Leo sent the now infamous burofax to Barça.
It's because of this that Josep Maria Bartomeu has decided to revoke the legal team's services with the club. 'Cuatrecasas' actually represented Barça in their case against Neymar. Now, if the situation doesn't reach an amicable solution, they could find themselves in court representing Messi.
