The Portugal right-back has started the last four games under Setien

Quique Setien has managed to get the best out of Nelson Semedo, who has consolidated himself as Barcelona's right-back in recent weeks ahead of Sergi Roberto.

The Portugal defender feels more and more comfortable in the Barça system since the arrival of the new coach and has recognised as much in comments in A Bola on Tuesday.

Semedo has played 90 minutes in each of the last four games, including the visit to Seville to take on Real Betis, a game that ended the team's bad form away from Camp Nou.

"Things are going well for me," Semedo said. "The new coach has a lot of confidence in me and I am working as hard as I can to justify that confidence."

The ex-Benfica man's been linked with a move away but he added: "This could be my best season at Barcelona so far. I am really happy with what's happening, it's just a shame we're not top.

"But there's still a long way to go and we can still become champions. We can come back (and replace Real Madrid at the top)."
