It is Semana Santa in Malaga and Antonio Banderas may attend the game

Barcelona have chosen an historic building to rest in while they wait for their game against Malaga on Saturday night. The Blaugrana squad are located at the Hotel Miramar, which opened at the end of 2016 and was previously the provincial court builiding in the city. It was around midday when the players arrived, to the back drop of the sun shining.

The court was the centre of attention for many years due to the corruption cases which were judged there. Among the famous faces to pass through was former Atletico Madrid president, Jesus Gil, and the former mayor of Marbella and husband to Isabel Pantoja, Julian Muñoz.

After moving the court's location, though, it left the building free for other uses and it was finally purchased by a construction company, who have since turned it into a luxury hotel. It boasts impressive views of the beach and the players will be able to take a relaxing siesta or, if they prefer, watch the Madrid derby in peace.

Antonio Banderas

Malaga welcome Barça at the start of Semana Santa. One of the celebrities currently in the city is Antonio Banderas. If his health permits, he will attend the game -- he recently suffered a heart attack.

LUNCH WITH ARNAU

The Barcelona board members present in Malaga -- Jordi Mestre, Jordi Moix, Pau Vilanova, Maria Teixidor and Xavier Vilajoana -- had lunch in the restaurant La Reserva 12 with their Malaga counterparts, while former Barcelona player Francesc Arnau was also present.
