Alejandro Echeverría was also present at the lunch which took place on Thursday

While waiting to get the LaLiga title over the line, Barcelona are working hard on planning for next season. With the certainty that the green light will be given to the viability plan presented to LaLiga, they are preparing for another summer full of names and moves to strengthen the squad.

Something that is evidenced by the meeting revealed by 'Jijantes' that took place on Thursday between Barça coach Xavi Hernández and president Joan Laporta, who were accompanied by the president's right-hand man, Alejandro Echeverría.

The three of them had lunch together to prepare for a transfer market that is already on fire with more than a month to go before the window officially opens. There are many names on the table and several cases to be resolved.

Among them, the departure of Sergio Busquets, which has upset the plans of Xavi, who wanted to count on the captain next season, but who will now have to accept his departure and decide whether to look for a replacement in the market.
