Barça pocket another €3.5 million as Akieme signs for Almeria
The full-back has made his move to the second division side permanent on Wednesday
Barcelona continue to make progress with Operation Exit. The club announced on Wednesday that Almeria have exercised an option to sign the Barça B player Sergio Akieme for 3.5 million euros.
The left-back has been on loan at the second division team and has done enough to convince the club's owners to make the move permanent.
In addition to the transfer fee, Barça will receive 10 percent of any money Almeria make on Akieme with regards to a future sale.
Barça will also have the first option on Akieme in the case he leaves Almeria, with the club thanking him for his effort and commitment while at Camp Nou.
