The Dutch coach spoke with the winger recently to help him improve

If there's a signing that's not found his place in Barcelona's system yet it's Francisco Trincao. The Portuguese winger has still not had a stand out performance since joining the club and coach Ronald Koeman wanted to speak to him to demand more.

According to ‘Tot Costa’ on Catalunya Ràdio, Koeman met with Trincao after the Copa del Rey win over Cornella. The ex-Braga forward, who started that game, was not capable of breaking down the third division side's backline and was taken off in the second half.

After the game, Koeman met with him to ask him to be brave in the final third and to make better decisions. In addition, according to the cited media, Koeman reiterated his confidence in the player to ensure the player didn't feel attacked and can find his best form.

Trincao has got off to a good start in the dressing room at Barça. He's adapted well to his new team and the players are optimistic Koeman's pep talk will have the desired effect.

In Wednesday's Copa del Rey game against Rayo Vallecano, Trincao was better. He should have been awarded two penalties -- the referee didn't give either -- and had a shot well saved, although maybe he should have passed.
