Barça player ratings: Ter Stegen & Lenglet slump in Atletico loss
Ter Stegen made a big mistake for the goal and Lenglet missed chances
Barcelona fell to their third league defeat of the season on Saturday as they lost 1-0 to Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Yannick Carrasco scored the only goal of the game in first-half stoppage time as Atletico recorded their first win over Barça in La Liga since 2010.

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen 4
Made a huge error leading the Atletico goal to cloud his performances. Had started well with a great save from Saul.
Sergi Roberto 6
In good shape after a good spell with the Spain national team. Did OK at right-back and moved into midfield in the second half. Possibly picked up an injury late on.
Gerard Pique 6
Was doing OK until Correa fell on his knee. Left the pitch in clear pain and visibly worried about the seriousness of the injury.
Clement Lenglet 4
Struggled to follow the runs of Correa and Llorente behind him. In attack, missed two good headed chances.
Jordi Alba 6
Aware of the importance of the game, worked really hard on the left. Tried to make things happen and set up a good chance for Messi.
Miralem Pjanic 5
In his first big-match start for Barca, he did OK but did not excel. Worked hard to help the defence.
Frenkie de Jong 5
Can't fault him at all in terms of attitude and desire, although can ask for more from him with the ball. Needs to step up.
Ousmane Dembele 5
Started really well, beating his man regularly, and set up an early chance for Griezmann. However, disappeared as the game went on.
Antoine Griezmann 5
Had two chances but took neither. Poked an early Dembele cross over and headed a later effort straight at Oblak.
Pedri 5
The youngster paid the toll for his improved reputation. Simeone made sure his players paid special attention to him and he was quiet.
Lionel Messi 6
Struggled to get involved in the first half. In the second half, took on the role of captain in attack. Set up a good chance for Lenglet and missed one of his own.

Cometió un error excesivamente grosero al límite del descanso que empañó el resto de su actuación. Había empezando bien sacando un trallazo de Saúl, pero salió sin sentido ante Carrasco y regaló el gol rojiblanco.
Mantiene el buen tono físico mostrado en la selección. Mantuvo el pulso por la banda derecha hasta que pasó a la medular con la lesión de Piqué y dejar su sitio a Dest. Pagó su esfuerzo lesionándose en la recta final
Estaba actuando con solvencia en el centro dela defensa hasta que Correa le cayó encima de su rodilla y lo lesionó. Se marchó con señales de dolor y visiblemente preocupado por la posible gravedad del percance
Estuvo poco diligente en defensa, especialmente en el primer tiempo donde Correa y Llorente le ganaron la espalda con facilidad. En ataque, tuvo el emapte con un cabezazo totalmente solo que envió a las manos de Oblak
Consciente de la relevancia del partido, el de L'Hospitalet fue cauto en sus subidas por la banda. Buscó los momentos oportunos y dio un gran pase a Messi antes del descanso en una gran ocasión barcelonista.
En su primer partido importante como titular en el Barça cumplió con el expediente sin más. Trabajó para ayudar en defensa antes los media puntas del Atlético y en ataque dio salidas sencillas
No se le puede reprochar nada en cuanto a actitud y ganas, aunque sí que se le puede exigir más a nivel futbolístico. Debe tener más jeraraquía en el campo y dejarse notar más en el juego por el bien del equipo
Su arranque fue esperanzador, desbordando y dando buenos pases, buscando sobre todo a Griezmann. Sin embargo, con el paso de los minutos se fue diluyendo y se llevó un fuerte golpe en el brazo.
Apareció para rematar dos balones peligrosos, uno acrobático a centro de Dembélé y otro de cabeza a pase de Messi. No tuvo más participación en medio de la tela de araña que planteó el Cholo
El joven talento pagó el peaje de ser ya un futbolista considerado en la Liga. Simeone ordenó a sus pupilos que lo marcaran de cerca y con coberturas para evitar que generara juego arrancando desde la izquierda. Pese a todo, nunca se esccondió
Le costó entrar en juego en el primer tiempo y en el segundo asumió el papel de capitán para comandar las operaciones ofensivas. Ejerció más de pasador que de rematador ya que el Barça necesitaba ante todo generar
Volvió después de su lesión y tuvo una partipación mínima en el juego
Quiso dar profundidad y exponer su punta de velocidad para buscar el empate
Probó el disparo lejano y provocar cosas sin excesiva suerte
Se colocó de delantero centro donde apenas tuvo partipación
