Miralem Pjanic arrived at Barcelona with a lot of experience but he’s not shown his quality. He’s got one foot out of the door. He is still liked in European football and various clubs are interested.
The Bosnian has not been useful for Ronald Koeman. Chelsea and Inter Milan have already asked about him. The Blues were interested last summer too and Inter, who won the league, remember him well from his impressive years in Italy.
Pjanic would not mind staying at Barcelona and trying to prove himself but with a high salary the club would like to move him on. He wouldn’t object to a move to a top club.
The deal might have to be a loan. His market price has lowered significantly from the 60m euros they paid. Once the season is over they will analyse the options, both sides are calm for now.
Pjanic has spoken to Koeman about his situation, but the coach wants De Jong and Busquets in the middle. Ilaix Moriba and Sergi Roberto are ahead of him too.
