Barcelona's fourth signing of the summer, Junior Firpo, has chosen to take the No.24 shirt after joining the club from Real Betis on Sunday.
The left-back has joined Barça to provide competition for Jordi Alba in the team. He arrived in Barcelona on Sunday and then passed his medical and signed a deal until 2024.
He will be presented in front of supporters at the Camp Nou before the game against Arsenal and will take Vermaelen's old shirt -- who used to play for the Gunners -- following the Belgian's move to Vissel Kobe.
Barça have paid an initial fee of 18 million euros for the Spain U21 international, who was born in the Dominican Republic, and could pay an additional 12 million in variables.
