Camp Nou whistled Roberto when he was taken off early in the second half on Tuesday

Barcelona fans turned on Sergi Roberto when he was taken off in Tuesday's 3-0 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.

Roberto, who played at right wing back against the Germans, was removed in the 59th minute, shortly after Bayern's second goal.

As he was replaced by Yusuf Demir, whistles rung around Camp Nou from the near 40,000 capacity crowd (coronavirus restrictions are still in place).

Sergino Dest was cleared fit to make the squad but Koeman decided not to risk the American, instead lining up with Roberto on the right of a 3-5-2 formation.

But Roberto never looked comfortable and struggled all night against Bayern's powerful attack, including Davies, Musiala, Müller, Sané and Lewandowski.

Roberto's deal is up at the end of the season but president Joan Laporta said recently new terms have been agreed which will include a pay cut.
