Barça midfielder Gavi's first market valuation, according to Transfermarkt
The youngster already has the same value as Hazard, Benzema and Carvajal, among others
Gavi's explosion on to the scene has been one of the most enjoyable things for Barcelona fans in recent months. His form for the first team and the Spanish national team has been as unexpected as it is gratifying.
The prestigious website Transfermarkt have finally given him a transfer value, giving him a price tag of around 25 million euros for his first valuation. That already makes him the eighth-most valuable player in the Barça squad.
The seven players ahead of the 17-year-old are, in order: Frenkie de Jong (90 million euros), Pedri (80), Ansu Fati (60), Ter Stegen (55), Dembélé (50), Memphis (45) and Dest (30).
Gavi's valued higher than some of Barça's other talented youngsters, such as Eric Garcia (20 million euros, Riqui Puig and Mingueza (15) and Yusuf Demir (12).
Some players who share the same 25 million value as Gavi are Eden Hazard, Karim Benzema, Dani Carvajal, Iñaki Williams and Fekir.
