Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets will be suspended for next Sunday's league game against Athletic Club after receiving his fifth booking of the season on Sunday.
Busquets was cautioned in ths 68th minute of Barça's 2-0 win against Elche in La Liga for a challenge on Antonio Barragán.
He was also booked in away games against Celta Vigo and Alaves and at Camp Nou in matches against Real Sociedad and Granada this season.
Therefore, the midfielder will sit out next weekend's game against Marcelino's Athletic at Camp Nou, although he can play in the Copa del Rey against Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.
Miralem Pjanic is most likely to take Busquets' place against Athletic, who beat Barça 3-2 after extra-time last weekend in the Spanish Supercopa final.
