The club are pleased that the young forward is coming along nicely now

Ansu Fati’s return to action is a step closer. He has completed his first full training session and is hoping to play again before the break.

The club’s medical services met at the training ground and have given him the OK. His recovery in recent weeks has been smooth and apart from getting up to speed, his knee problems have disappeared.

Ansu will not be in the squad against Granada on Monday unless there’s a surprise, with Barca taking no risks, but he could appear in the coming games. They play Cadiz on Thursday, Levante on Sunday, Benfica in the Champions League and then Atletico Madrid on October 2.

Koeman already said Ansu was recovering without problems, but they would not rush him. The club are sticking to that idea.
