Xavi was also without Ousmane Dembele and Pablo Torre for the session

Barcelona's first team trained Saturday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper to prepare for Sunday's league game at 21:00 (CET) against Sevilla.

Xavi Hernández led a session in which he was able to count on everyone with the exception of the injured Ousmane Dembélé and Alejandro Balde, who missed the training session due to a fever.

The Barça boss, therefore, called up reserve team player Nil Ruiz and youth teamer Ángel Alarcón. Xavi was also without Pablo Torre, who will play with the reserve team on Saturday against Cornellà.

Barça are looking to extend their good form in the league, where they have won four consecutive games and are top of the table with 50 points at the halfway stage.

It won't be easy for them against a Sevilla side who seem to be reacting after a very difficult start to the season, fighting to avoid relegation, but who in the last four games have won three times.

Jorge Sampaoli and his players will be looking to pick up points at Camp Nou, where a big crowd is expected for one of the season's biggest games.
