FC Barcelona are keeping a close eye on Portugal's latest starlet Joelson Fernandes. This is according to reports from 'A Bola' on Monday.
The 16-year-old forward has trained with the first-team squad at Sporting Clube de Portugal for the second day in a row ahead of their Portuguese Cup semi-final match against Braga.
Joelson Fernandes is one of the brightest prospects to come from Sporting's academy and is under contract until 2022 with a €45m buyout clause.
The youngster is already capped at U16 level by Portugal where he predominantly plays as a left winger but is also comfortable just behind the main striker.
