Barca join the push in Europe to sign Mikkel Damsgaard
The Danish forward has thrived at the Euros and scored a golazo against Russia
Mikkel Damsgaard’s fine Euros has put him under the magnifying glass for a lot of Europe’s top sides and Barca are no different. They are keeping tabs on the Danish forward.
He scored a brilliant goal against Russia from distance and at almost 21 is over 180 centimetres tall. His birthday gift will be to play against in the quarter-finals against Netherlands or Czech Republic, if Denmark get past Wales in the last 16.
Damsgaard formed in Danish football and signed for Sampdoria last season, playing well under Claudio Ranieri.
AC Milan are interested as they may sell Rafael Leao, and Simon Kjaer, their defender and the Denmark captain, obviously knows Damsgaard well now.
