Barca have six untouchable players, no matter their situation

The Catalans are not planning to let these six go in the summer

Barcelona's economic situation, and especially the difficulties related to FFP, obliging them to reduce wages in the first team, could result in some player sales next summer.

However there are six players who are completely untouchable.

Five of them because they are bothj the present and the future of the club - Ronald Araujo, Jules Kounde, Gavi, Pedri and Ansu Fati. And the sixth is Robert Lewandowski, who is the clear world class player at the club, making the difference since his arrival.

The Polish attacker, top scorer in La Liga with 13 goals, arrived from Bayern Munich for 45m euros plus 5m in variables, signing a contract until June 30, 2026.

His performance is excellent, with Barca having a top forward once again. He's a leader off and on the pitch, who teaches the younger players, and has commercial value too. He's 34 but the club expect him to finish his career at the highest level at Camp Nou.

Another player who arrived last summer, Kounde, is also untouchable. He came for 50m plus variables, with his versatility important so far. He's a centre-back but often features at right-back.

He joined Barca for five years and has a 1 billion euro release clause.

That's the same as the other untouchable players, a declaration of intention by Barca, that they plan to keep their stars.

Gavi and Ronald Araujo were the latest to renew their deals. Both until 2026.

Ansu Fati has a contract until 2027, with Barca and Xavi hoping he can be decisive in the second half of the season.

Pedri's deal is until 2026 and Barcelona already depend on his magic to maintain their passing style.
