Barça have offered PSG the chance to sign Rakitic this summer
The club is desperately trying to find a buyer for the Croatian before his contract runs out next summer
FC Barcelona want to sell Ivan Rakitic to PSG before the midfielder's contract runs out at the end of next season.
According to 'Footmercato', Barça have offered the Croatian to PSG and the player is keen on the move too. Barça need to generate as much cash as possible and despite Rakitic losing his untouchable status at the Camp Nou, he's still someone who has considerable value in the transfer market.
Irregular form
Rakitic, 32, has struggled to find his best form on a consistent basis over the past couple of seasons. Two years ago the Croatian almost joined PSG in a transfer deadline day move but it fell through after Ivan opted to remain in Spain. And last year he was one of the names mentioned as part of a possible swap deal for Neymar.
Barça are going to try one last time to find a suitable buyer for Rakitic and are hopeful PSG will see him as the experienced head they need.
