Barça forward Dembele has agreement in principle with Juventus
The Frenchman is out of contract in June and could walk away for free
Ousmane Dembele's situation at Barcelona has become complicated. Weeks ago, the club hoped to tie him down to a new deal, but they were never going to overpay to do so. After talks broke down this week, SPORT have now learned that the player and his agent have an agreement in principle with Juventus.
The French forward is out of contract in the summer. But while he has reached a deal with Juve to join the Italian club in June, he is still waiting for an offer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United and Juve have both been in contact with his camp fo months and made a proposal in the event he decided to run down his deal with Barça.
In addition, in recent weeks, Arsenal have also appeared on the scene as they rebuild under Mikel Arteta. They have a young squad and feel Dembele would be the star of the project moving forward.
Then there is Newcastle. The Magpies have a lot of money after being taken over by a Saudi Arabian investment fund and can offer him a huge salary.
Until now, Dembele has turned down their advances. They're in the relegation zone in the Premier League and it's not an attractive option right now.
