Barca fans get back to watching their team live
This is the first game in over a year that the supporters have been able to attend
An hour before Barca’s friendly against Nastic at the Johan Cruyff stadium and there was already a good atmosphere around the ground. Barca fans were looking forward to seeing their team live again, although the intense heat, the absence of starting stars and the price of tickets, between 24 and 48 euros, implied there wouldn’t be too many there.
Despite that, the faithful attended and normality returned another inch or two, bit by bit. It’s been a long time since fans have been able to watch Barca.
“We wanted to get back because it’s not the same watching on television,” a fan told Sport. “Messi’s not there, nor are most of them, but it doesn’t matter, it’s Barca.”
Meanwhile another fan told us “I’ve been dying to get back to a game,” while his partner found their seats.
