Barça coach Xavi knows the recipe to beat Inter in Champions League
Barcelona have a huge game at the San Siro on Tuesday with both teams fighting to qualify
Xavi Hernandez repeated on various occasions on Monday that the key to bearing Inter will be being true to Barcelona's style at San Siro. "Dominate, have the ball and play in the opponent's half." And that does not mean a change to the system won't happen because, in fact, he also recognised he is considering a back three, something which would not change how Barça play.
"We did it at Real Sociedad," he explained. "We have to take risks, be brave... it is our philosophy, going for the game, looking forward, not letting Inter run."
That is Xavi's recipe to win in Italy.
In fact, he is clear that playing as they did in Munich, Barcelona will win: "In Germany, we were superior in the game against Bayern, who are among the favorites for the Champions League.
"But we have to be more effective, compete better. We are in a good moment, the dynamic is good and the rival's is not, so we have to take advantage of that and show a lot of personality from the first moment."
On the other hand, he also says Barça must learn from their mistake: "Munich's goal from a set play hurt us a lot, we had the game under control, they are details that change the dynamic of a game. We generate a lot and, if we don't concede, we have a chance."
