Barça coach Xavi: It's not the moment to talk about Lewandowski
The Polish striker is out of contract in 2023 and could leave Bayern this summer
The summer transfer window edges ever closer and one of the names being strongly linked with Barcelona is Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
Barça coach Xavi Hernandez was asked about potential interest in the Polish international, whose Bayern side was knocked out of the Champions League by Villarreal on Tuesday.
"I understand the question but it's not the moment to speak about Lewandowski," Xavi responded. "He's a great player and I have a lot of respect for him, but we're focused on tomorrow's game."
Lewandowski is out of contract with Bayern in 2023 and could move on this summer if he doesn't extend his stay in Munich.
However, in an attempt to quash the noise around the striker this week, Bayern general director Oliver Kahan said he would remain at the club next season.
