Barça coach Xavi: It makes no sense to play the Mallorca game
Barcelona are dealing with a Covid-19 outbreak at the club
Xavi Hernandez was categorical in his belief that LaLiga should call Barcelona's trip to Mallorca off on Sunday due to a coronavirus outbreak at Camp Nou.
"It makes no sense to play tomorrow," the Barca coach said. "We're at the very limit, with 17 or 18 players out. It should have been called off. It's common sense. It's not a complaint. It should have been suspended."
Despite the situation, Xavi says he will take a team to San Moix to compete and will not look for excuses.
"We have nothing left to do but compete with those who we have," he added. "Mallorca have a similar situation, a bit lighter. It's a chaotic situation. We will go for the three points because they're very important."
