Barça coach Xavi gives his view on the possible return of Lionel Messi
Xavi was asked about the PSG forward following Yuste's comments on Friday
FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández spoke about the possibility of Lionel Messi returning at the end of the current season at the press conference ahead of the game against Elche: "It's not the time to talk about Leo's return. There's a world between now and then, but I'll be the first to do everything possible to bring him back."
The Barça coach, who is looking for the best version of his team in the final stretch of the campaign in search of of two more trophies, added that he maintains contact with Messi: "I talk to him often, but it is not the time for the good of everyone: for the player himself, for the club, for the current squad..."
Xavi pointed out that he is the best player in history and his wish is none other than his return at the end of the season: "I wish he would come back to help us. He is the best player in the world and in history."
