Barça coach Koeman "really disappointed" after dropped Cadiz points

The Catalans could have moved within six points of Atletico with a win on Sunday

Visibly annoyed with Barcelona's draw with Cadiz after a defensive mistake from Clement Lenglet in the final minute of the game, Ronald Koeman said he and his players were "disappointed" after the 1-1 draw.

"We have to win these types of games," the Barça coach said. "We have failed to take advantage of a hug chance to get back into [the] La Liga [title race] after Atletico Madrid's defeat.

"If you don't kill games off, it's always possible that you concede a goal. We didn't score the second and we paid a heavy price for it at the end.

"We struggled to create chances against a team that sat very deep. We lacked freshness in attack when it came to taking our chances."

Koeman didn't give up on La Liga, though, saying that "we still think that we can do something. No team wins their games easily."

But despite sending a message of optimism in that sense, the Dutchman also recognised that Barcelona "cannot let opportunities like today pass."
