The Dutch coach hopes things will relax once a new president is elected

Ronald Koeman gave a news conference on Friday ahead of the game against Osasuna. The Barcelona coach analysed that and more, including Sunday's presidential election and what it could mean for his future.

"I don't know if I have won the right to another year," he said. "It's not in mu hands. "I only know that I have one more year on my contract. The president has to mark the path and we will speak.

"The important thing is to win games. We know that we're going to play the final of the Copa del Rey and that we can win a trophy. We have to focus on that. Everything else is not in my hands."

Asked about Xavi, Koeman added: "Rumours are normal. Press put names out there to create controversy. It doesn't annoy me because I am focused on my job.

"It doesn't interest or annoy me to see names like Xavi or others. A new president is coming in and he will decide. I'm fed up of these types of questions.

"Of course I would like to have a president, finally. It's important for the biggest club in the world, to know about the future and to plan. Finally."
