Valverde's squad will head off to the U.S on Tuesday after Monday's double session

FC Barcelona trained on Saturday morning as they brought their first full week of preseason to a close, although they are still unable to work with the internationals who took part in the World Cup in Russia.

After medical and fitness tests last Wednesday, this week was the first in which Ernesto Valverde was able to focus solely on the few players he currently has at his disposal.

The players trained in the morning at the Ciudad Deportiva and will now have Sunday off ahead of a double session on Monday.

Barça will then travel to the United States on Tuesday, where they will visit Portland, Los Angeles, Dallas and San Francisco.

Rafinha Alcántara and Paco Alcácer were unable to take part in Saturday's session, though, which saw B team players Mate, J. Cuenca, Migueza, Miranda, Collado, Abel Ruiz, Riqui Puig and Ballou involved.
