Barça boss Valverde brings up 50 league wins
The coach hit the landmark in style with a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde brought up 50 league wins in charge of the Catalans with Saturday's 2-0 success over title rivals Atletico Madrid.
Valverde's half century of wins comes in just 69 leeague games in charge since he replaced Luis Enrique in the summer od 2017.
Only Luis Enrique, Pep Guardiola and Helenio Herrera were able to bring up 50 Liga wins quicker than Valverde, who has Barça on course for the treble this season.
The Blaugrana are 11 points clear in La Liga, into the final of the Copa and have a Champions League quarterfinal tie against Manchester United.
