The Barcelona coach is now focused on winning the Champions League

Barcelona coach Quique Setien admitted after the 5-0 win against Alaves that there had been a "deep reflection" of the situation after the midweek loss to Osasuna. He also assured that he's not worried about his future and that his relationship with Lionel Messi is good.

On his future, he said: "I have always been calm, I don't worry about my future, but the team and the club. I am another part of this immense club and I'm not pending these things. I focus on improving and convincing my players to do certain things. I can't control other things.

"It's true that we performed a deep reflection of the situation. We are all excited about the Champions League. It's true we spoke and it served for a lot because we've cleared something up. It's something I've seen in this game and with this result, that allows us to face the future with more confidence. Today was special because the sensations were good."

Setien made it clear that he feels backed by Messi: "Of course I feel supported by everyone. I understand we have to be self-critical across the club and when you make decisions with so many games it's normal that you make mistakes. It's not the same speaking after a win as after a loss, the feelings are different.

"I have always felt supported and backed. If it was different, maybe I would take another decision, but I am happy."

"My relationship with Messi is the same, more or less, as with everyone. There are some players that are more open and you have more of a relationship with, but the relationship is good. It's the relationship a coach has with a player."
