The forward will go on loan with an obligatory to buy in the summer

Barcelona and Roma have reached an agreement for Carles Perez to join the club on loan until the end of the season, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Perez's agent, Arturo Canales, has been finalising the deal with the two clubs, with the forward set to move to Italy until the summer.

The deal includes an obligatory clause which stipulates that Roma will sign him in June for 13 million euros, while Barça will reserve the right to re-sign him for 25 million euros.

An announcement is expected once Canales closes the terms of the contract with Roma.

Talks accelerated over the last few days after Quique Setien told Perez after training that he would not be in the squad for the Valencia game and could leave this month.

Perez has made 12 first-team appearances this season, 10 under Ernesto Valverde and two under Setien.
