The Catalans may accept a deal with the American investment fund which could help them sign players in January

Barcelona are advancing in negotiations with investment fund CVC to try and reach a deal which allows them to sign players in the winter window.

The Goldman Sachs investment fund, with which Barça has already had a source of financing worth 595 million over ten years since August, is also involved in the operation as it is interested in its success given the good relations that they maintain with both Barça and CVC. The positions are getting closer and the agreement could be imminent.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Athletic Club opposed the CVC deal in the vote. 39 clubs agreed with it. However president Joan Laporta had told SPORT he did not rule out a deal with CVC if they accepted the conditions that they took some time to study and look at the documents which had not arrived in that moment.
