The club have a friendly in Australia but will free up two players for the game

The coach of the Catalan national team Gerard Lopez will publish his squad for the friendly against Jamaica (May 25 in Girona) in Girona on Thursday.

Despite being a FIFA date in the calendar, Gerard is struggling to pick a team because of teams playing for promotion and relegation and, in Barça's case, because they have a friendly in Australia.

However, there will be two Barça players in the squad: Oscar Mingueza and Riqui Puig.

Joan Soteras, a candidate to be reelected as the president of the Catalan Association, confirmed the news on Wednesday on beteve.

He explained that Barça had committed to letting Riqui Puig and Mingueza stay in Barcelona to play for the national team, but they could not do the same with other players, like Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba, Busquets and Adama Traoré, among others.
