Barça accelerate their efforts toward activating the third lever

Having acitvated the second lever, Barça is working towards the sale of 20 to 30% of Barça Studios, ideally before the end of the month, so they can register their players

After sealing the second lever, which finally lifted the burden of negative equity, their financial team is already working on the third lever. It will be essential for them to register their recent signings and the renewals of Sergi Roberto and Dembélé, and of those yet to arrive.

The club has accelerated its search for an investor who can buy a percentage of Barça Studios, a line of business that is currently under loss for Barça. The board of directors have permission from the socios to sell up to 49% of Barça Studios, but sources suggest that the percentage to be sold will be lower, around 20 or 30%, as much as will be needed to obtain another one hundred million euros to allow the smooth registration of all their players. The business to be sold concerns audiovisual production, the metaverse and the NFT.

Barça's board of directors are aware that La Liga does not start until August 12, but have pressed the pedal nonetheless to avoid rushing the deadlines and are hoping to have the issue solved before the end of this month.
