Bad weather delayed Barcelona's arrival in Granada for Saturday's game

A storm meant the players didn't arrive in Andalusia on time

Barcelona's flight to Granada didn't set off on time on Saturday. But not because of the strike at the city's El Prat airport, which has seen various flights delayed, but because of the bad weather.

A storm in the Catalan capital and the intense rain meant the plane was unable to set off when it was supposed to at 11am in the morning ahead of the game on Saturday night at 9pm.

Luckily, the delay wasn't too long. Barça's flight departed around half an hour later and arrived in Granada on Saturday afternoon.

The 18 players called up by Ernesto Valverde -- and the rest of the travelling party -- then made their way to the Hotel Palace Granada, were they will spend the hours before the match.

Barça are yet to win away from home this season in three games but hope their game in Granada will see that change.
