Aston Villa target spectacular deal for Ferran Torres and Vlahovic
The Premier League side want to strengthen in the transfer market this summer
Aston Villa want to go big in the summer transfer market. After tying down the incorporation of Mateu Alemany to lead their sporting structure, the English club are already thinking about the preparation of the squad for next season. And, according to Marca, they are planning a spectacular operation with Ferran Torres and Dusan Vlahovic as protagonists.
The aforementioned media explains that Aston Villa would be willing to pay more than 100 million euros to land the FC Barcelona forward and for the Juventus striker.
Both Unai Emery, coach of the Premier League team, and Alemany consider Ferran a very talented player and believe that he can offer a great performance in Birmingham. And the club would be willing to offer an amount, at least, similar to the 55 million that Barça paid Manchester City in January 2022, which could rise to 65 million depending on some variables.
However, Ferran is not contemplating leaving the Catalan giants for the time being. He is determined to succeed at Camp Nou and continue to grow under Xavi. He wants to prove to Xavi that he deserves a place in the team.
