Xavi and Laporta will have a final meeting to decide course of action
Ousmane Dembele could return to Barcelona's squad for the Atletico game this weekend. According to AS; Xavi Hernandez has convinced Joan Laporta to let him use the French winger despite him not renewing his contract.
Dembele's been one of the big stories of the year so far. He did not want to leave in January despite offers from the Premier League and prioritised staying in Barcelona.
His intention has always been to play but the club told him he would not. Now, however, the situation could have changed.
Per AS, in the coming hours there will be a meeting to make a final decision between coach Xavi and president Laporta to see if he could feature against Atletico this weekend.
It then remains to be seen how Xavi decides to use him and how he's received by the fans at Camp Nou.
