The Chilean told his agent not to listen to any offers from elsewhere

Arturo Vidal is not moving from Barcelona. The Chilean is enjoying himself in the Catalan capital and has no intention of changing environment, no matter what rumours spring up. Barca coach Ernesto Valverde is happy with his performance too. Two plus two equals four.

Inter Milan have been interested all summer in bringing in Vidal. Antonio Conte, their new coach, would like the midfielder. He signed Vidal for Juventus in 2011 and the two worked well together.

After finding out Barca would be willing to sell Vidal for 20 million euros, his agent Fernando Felicevich was contacted by Inter, but Vidal left no doubts - he wanted to stay. He told his agent not to listen to any offers.

The club would like to lose another midfielder to lighten the squad, and that may end up being Ivan Rakitic.

After appearing at the Copa America, Vidal had holidays and is at a different stage of pre-season to most of the others. Valverde is not hurrying him and the coach has him working on a personal exercise plan.
