Barcelona coach Quique Setien spoke about the midfielder's future on Friday

Quique Setien is preparing his Barcelona players for Celta Vigo on Saturday convinced that they can return to top spot. The Blaugrana are away from Camp Nou and with big players missing in Busquets (banned) and De Jong (injured), but they cannot afford to drop more points ahead of Real Madrid's game at Espanyol on Sunday.

Here are some of the things Setien had to say in Friday's press conference:

Celta Vigo

"They are a solid team. They have a lot of talent in attack. Players that know what to do with the ball. They have different players, very intelligent ones that complicate things for us. I expect a difficult game, I hope we can win it, but there will be difficulties."

Arthur's situation

"I'm still counting on Arthur, he will train with us and will travel (to Vigo). We are going to need him. We hope all the noise does not affect him and, in the case that he plays, that he tries to be at his best."

"What is happening isn't normal. The reality is that any player in this situation must understand the season is not over and they must leave the best memories possible until [they leave]. There are still important games to be played and [Arthur], like the rest of his teammates, I am sure will want to end the season well and win trophies."

"The club have not told me that Arthur is going to leave. He will be with us until the last game, for sure. He has to give everything for club which pays his wages, until the last day."

"In general, there are players, not just Arthur, who is not the first and won't be the last player to join with high expectations which don't materialise. I don't know if he will go, but there will be people that think it's better to keep him because of his age. There will be others that think the opposite."

"Since I arrived, he has tried very hard to take on the things we've asked him. Sometimes he has lacked some consistency, but it is not easy to change things in a player that other coaches have said are very good. Arthur has been used to being told to make sure of holding the ball. Now we come in and say you should play one or two touches. He has found it a challenge, but he is on a good path. It will make him a better player."

Riqui Puig

"It could be a good moment to give him continuity. He's going to have a bigger chance to play with some important players missing, but he also had a chance if everyone was available. But we considered it wasn't the moment then. We assess the circumstances as we go, on the daily work of the players and what they can offer in each game.

"He's progressed well. His attitude has always been extraordinary. There was a period when he was adapting but recently we've seen him at a good level, when he's played and in training, with that same attitude and commitment. With these things that we have asked of him, that's the path to follow. It's a process."
