At the Brazilian top flight awards ceremony, Gremio player Arthur spoke to Esporte Interativo about his meeting with FC Barcelona.
"On the Barcelona topic, they spoke with me," he said. "We had a meeting but I want to say that nothing is agreed, there is nothing defined, I did not sign anything, I'm a Gremio player.
"While we did not start to negotiate, if I did sign the contract, yes, I would be a Barcelona player. But that did not happen.
"It would have to be something good for me and good for Gremio, which is my home, where everything started. I arrived at 14 years old, I have a Gremio heart, my blood is blue.
"It was just a first contact so they could meet my family nad get to know them, we will take everything calmly. There's nothing defined but yes, we had a conversation."
