Arthur will be first Brazilian to play with Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo
The midfielder will join a select group of players to play with both of them
Arthur Melo's days at Barcelona are numbered. During his time with Barcelona, he's been able to play alongside Lionel Messi and, now, he will be able to play with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Not many players throughout their careers have been able to play with both the Argentina and Portuguese stars, but the Brazilian will join a privileged club when he signed for Juventus.
Until now, only Martín Cáceres, Piqué and Larsson have played with the duo for different clubs. Cáceres for Juve and Barcelona, while the other two with Manchester United and Barça. Arthur will be the first Brazilian to play with the duo.
The rest of the VIPs played with one for their club and the other for their country. They are Dybala and Higuaín (Argentina and Juventus), Di María, Gago and Higuaín (Argentina and Real Madrid), Tévez and Heinze (Argentina and Manchester United) and Semedo, André Gomes and Deco (Portugal and FC Barcelona).
It won't be long before Arthur is asked the big question... who does he think is better, Messi or Ronaldo? Having played with them both, his opinion will soon take on more meaning, although he will no doubt be loathe to answer...
